YGFC presents: Moonfruits
Moonfruits is the creative braiding of Alex Millaire and Kaitlin Milroy and their collaborators, city dwellers yearning for the forest – a dreamship brimming with love, resilience and hope. Hailing from the unceded Territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe (Ottawa), their tender and powerful harmonies ring out in French and English over a landscape of guitar, banjo, harmonium, double bass and found sounds. Moonfruits have toured in Canada, Europe and the US for heart-forward music lovers of all stripes – let this Canadian Folk Music Awards-nominated group transport you.
